Welcome to our Storytelling section, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who shape the legal landscape and drive positive change. Here, we celebrate the journeys, experiences, and passions of individuals from the world of law and justice.

Through our two sub-sections, Community and Changemakers, we delve into the diverse narratives that make up the legal profession.

In Community, we explore the personal connections and societal influences that inspire lawyers, legal professionals, students, and professors. Discover the unique perspectives and challenges faced by individuals from various backgrounds as they navigate the complexities of their chosen field.

In Changemakers, we honor those who have made a significant impact on the legal system and society at large. Learn about the groundbreaking initiatives, innovative approaches, and unwavering dedication of individuals and organizations who are driving positive change.

STORYTELLING SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Thank you for your interest in sharing your story with Ninety Degrees! We are excited to hear about the voices and experiences that shape the world of law and justice.

Submission Criteria -

  • Story type: This section is open to submissions for our Community sub-section. We are looking for stories about your journey in law, the community that inspires you, and the impact you hope to make.
  • Word count: Submissions should be between 1500-2000 words.
  • Focus: Your story should focus on your own experiences and perspectives related to law and justice.
  • Originality: Submissions must be original works, not previously published elsewhere.
  • Formatting:
    • Use a standard 12-point font (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial).
    • Double-spaced.
    • Include your name and a brief bio (2-3 sentences) at the top of the document.

Submission Process -

  • Please submit your complete story document to ninetydegreesorg@gmail.com.
  • In the subject line, please include "Storytelling Submission - [Your Name]".

Selection Process -

  • We review all submissions carefully.
  • If your story is selected for potential publication, we will contact you within four weeks to discuss editing and next steps.
  • Please note that due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to provide individual feedback on stories that are not selected.

Additional Information -

  • We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, style, and length.
  • By submitting your story, you grant Ninety Degrees the right to publish your story on our website and potential future publications.
